Biography

Ephrem works for the Biomedical Imaging Facility within the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre. His main role is to analyse experimental requirements and provide appropriate research consultancy/assistance to active users. He also provides training in multiple microscopy systems. Ephrem’s interests are in the identification, distribution and profiling of intracellular melanin in melanocytes and melanocytic lesions in the human eye choroid using 2-photon excitation spectral and fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) / phasor plot analysis.
