Introduction to ImageJ/FIJI

 

Summary

This workshop caters to beginners and intermediate users with no prior image processing experience. It's designed as a foundational course and often serves as a prerequisite for more advanced workshops. Recently, it's been split into two parts based on user feedback.

Part 1 focuses on Image Processing, covering basics like digital image fundamentals and acceptable operations before data manipulation becomes fraudulent. It also includes processing images and movies for presentations.

Part 2 delves into Image Analysis, touching on statistics, threshold-based object counting, intensity measurement, background correction and recording regions of interest.

 

Cost

Free to all UNSW students and staff, UNSW affiliate organisations and all active users of any Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre facility.
