The Applikon ez-control is connected to a specialized vessel designed for the controlled and efficient fermentation of various substances, primarily microorganisms such as bacteria and yeast, with an active working volume of up to 6L. It provides an optimal environment for these microorganisms to grow and metabolize specific substrates to produce proteins and other biologics. The built-in pH and dissolved oxygen probes allow for real time tracking of the culture’s development, which can be auto-regulated by the Applikon ez-control once set up.
