Light Microscopy Australia Conference 2017

Light Microscopy Australia (LMA) is a special interest group of the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis society (AMMS) and will hold its first National meeting in 2017.

This conference will see microscopy enthusiasts from across Australia, and guest international microscopy leaders converge upon Melbourne at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) for two days of research using cutting edge light microscopy applications; including

  • Light sheet Microscopy
  • Intravital Microscopy
  • Super resolution
  • Live cell Imaging
  • Image analysis
  • Emerging and Novel technologies

The two confirmed international speakers include;

Pavel Tomancak, Max Planck Institute- Senior author of the Nature Method of the year 2015- Lightsheet Microscopy and

Elizabeth Hillman, Columbia State- Designed of the 3D SCAPE microscope (Swept confocal aligned planar excitation)
