Netzsch STA 449 F5 Jupiter

TGADDSC

The Netzsch STA 449 F5 Jupiter is a simultaneous thermal analyzer capable of running differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) in a single sample analysis. The system runs from room temperature to 1600 °C and can operate under nitrogen, oxygen, or synthetic air. The instrument is suitable for the analysis of polymers/plastics, composites, inorganic and graphitic materials.

DSC measurements available include glass transition, melting and crystallization temperatures, polymer curing enthalpy and rates. TGA measurements include analysis of moisture content, hydrated species, plasticizers and volatile additives and oxidative degradation. The instrument is not suitable for low temperature DSC measurements (25 - 80 C) but please contact us to discuss your analytical requirements.

We offer fee for service analysis for both commercial and UNSW users. For all enquiries please contact – CCL@unsw.edu.au
