The Thermo Scientific LTQ XL ETD combines a 2D linear Ion Trap with Electron Transfer Dissociation into a single instrument. The instrument is provided with ESI, nano ESI and APCI ionization sources with CID and ETD fragmentation technologies. The primary use of this instrument is for training and routine infusion, nanospray and LC/MS. It is suitable for small and larger molecule applications.
