Analyser

The BD LSRFortessa™ SORP X-20 analyzing flow cytometer is equipped with five excitation lasers (ultraviolet 355nm, violet 405nm, blue 488nm, yellow/green 561nm and red 642nm) and is able to detect up to 20 parameters (18 fluorescence channels plus forward scatter and side scatter). This cytometer’s configuration has been designed to mirror that of our BD Influx (excluding small particle detection), enabling users to easily transfer or work-up experiments.

Analyser

The BD FACSVerse™ is equipped with three excitation lasers (wavelengths 405nm, 488nm and 640 nm). The Verse can detect up to 8 fluorescent parameters with 2 scatter options. Sample uptake on this instrument is via suction, thus enabling experiments such as drug uptake. Software is FACSuite™ generating standard FCS3.0 files for third party software analysis packages.

The Attune NxT analyzing flow cytometer is a high-end, user-friendly flow cytometer with 4 excitation lasers and 24 detection parameters (matching our BD Fortessa SORP and X20 configuration). Optimised for both biomedical and environmental research, this cytometer offers an optional auto-sampling system, small particle detection and volumetric analysis ie, exact counts.

The Attune utilising a novel technique of Acoustic Focusing the sample on the the lasers which allows high through put sampling from tubes, up to 1ml per minute.

Optimised for both biomedical and environmental research, this cytometer offers an optional High Throughput Sampling system, and small particle detection.

Analyser

BD FACSCanto™ II is equipped with three excitation lasers wavelengths (405nm, 488nm and 640 nm). The Canto II cant detect up to 10 fluorescent parameters with 2 scatter options and is capable of analyzing samples between 100 and 12,000 cells per second. Software is FACS™ Diva generating standard FCS3.0 files for third party software analysis packages.

 

Cell Sorter

The BD FACSAria™ III cell sorter is equipped with 5 excitation lasers (blue 488nm, red 642nm and violet 405nm + Yellow Green 561nm and True Blue 442nm) and can detect up to 17 parameters (15 fluorescence channels plus forward scatter and side scatter).

The BD FACSAria™ II cell sorter is equipped with three excitation lasers (blue 488nm, red 642nm and violet 405nm) and can detect up to 13 parameters (11 fluorescence channels plus forward scatter and side scatter).

The BD Influx™ cell sorter is equipped with five excitation lasers (ultraviolet 355nm, violet 405nm, blue 488nm, yellow/green 561nm and red 642nm) and has a flexible detection configuration with a number of filter set options, detecting up to 24 parameters (21 fluorescence channels, two forward scatter channels and one side scatter).

Deformability Cytometer

The AcCellerator is a high-speed imaging cytometer for mechanical cell characterization through real-time deformability cytometry measurements.

Dynamic Light Scatter (DLS)

The Zetasizer Nano ZS is a high performance two angle particle and molecular size analyser for the enhanced detection of aggregates and measurement of small or dilute samples, and samples at very low or high concentration using dynamic light scattering with ‘NIBS’ optics. The ZSP also incorporates a zeta potential analyzer that uses electrophoretic light scattering for particles, molecules and surfaces, and a molecular weight analyzer using static light scattering.

The NanoSight NS300 utilizes the latest version of NanoSight’s particle characterization technology, Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA). This elegant new instrument offers the unique benefits scientists have come to expect from NanoSight in a compact format, with the major benefit of enhanced fluorescence capability.

HTS - 96 well autosampler

The high throughput sampling (HTS) is attached to the LSRFortessa allowing users to analyse sample directly from a plate (12, 24, 96 and 384 wells).
